Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping carts, and provide anonymous tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics.

As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.

Examples of how LATG uses cookies:

LATG’s cookies will prevent things such as popovers or suggested content windows from appearing on your screen. While we love it when you read another article, some people dislike these notifications.

Another example is the LATG Subscription “popover”. This is the greenish window that pops over your screen asking to subscribe (which you should do!). If you subscribe or choose to ignore it a cookie keeps it from re-appearing on subsequent visits for a period of time.

Cookies will not harm your machine or infringe on your personal information. And yes, I realize that’s exactly what someone who was trying to harm your machine and infringe on your personal information would say.

Guess you’ll just have to trust me on this one.
